Costs

Costs vary depending on the gymnastic programme, the number of hours training per week and the number of weeks in the term. Some examples for a 10-week term are given below.

Credits are applied for public holidays or cancelled training. Make-up sessions are offered where available.

Invoices
Invoices are sent out before each term and include term fees, registration costs, levies and appropriate discounts. Fees are due by the second week of each term, or within two weeks of the member joining (if joining mid-term). Invoices cannot be generated until a completed registration form is received by the office.

Deposits
Due to the popularity of Kindergym, we ask for a $20 non-refundable deposit to hold a place for the first two weeks of each term, until fees are due. The deposit is then taken in part payment of fees.

Other costs

Registration & Insurance: Kindergym: $27.50 per calendar year; Other gymsports: $42.50 per calendar year

Uniform: Uniform is not required for training. For competition Club leotards (approx $40) are required. Tracksuits are required for higher levels and those competing at State Events. These cost approx $100. Second-hand leotards and uniform items are available on the rack in the gym.

Competitions: Competition fees vary from $20 for a local invitational through to approx $70 for some state-level events. Competitions are always optional, and you will receive notification of any events at least a month in advance (usually sooner).

Maintenance and Equipment Levy: during your second and any subsequent terms each year, there is a levy of $10 ($5 for Kindergym) to assist with purchase of new equipment and repairs to existing equipment.

Choreography: WAG (Level 4 and above) and Sports Acro routines need to be choreographed. The club has a list of available choreographers. The usual charge for routine choreography is between $25 and $50 per routine. You will be notified in advance and asked for approval of such charges before choreography proceeds.

Discounts

Family discount: the second and any subsequent members of the same family to join the gym receive $11 off their total fees for the term.

Vouchers: We recognise services to the club with $10 off fees for those who help at events, on the committee or with specific activities around the gym.

Referrals: Members who refer the club to friends receive $10 off their next fees if the friend joins and puts their name as the referrer.
